EMPCOR Metal Stud and Track

EMPCOR certifies that the 25-gauge, 22-gauge and 20-gauge metal studs, runners and accessories EMPCOR manufactures, which are non-load-bearing framing members, comply with applicable ASTM requirements. EMPCOR's 25-gauge metal studs, runners and accessories are manufactured from commercial-quality cold-rolled steel with a minimum thickness of .0179 (before the addition of the protective coating), which complies with ASTM C 645 and A 568. The zinc-coated (galvanized) steel EMPCOR uses for manufacturing has a minimum coating of G 40 (or equivalent) to comply with ASTM A 525. All the steel products EMPCOR manufactures and distributes are guaranteed to meet or exceed all ASTM requirements for all projects.
